2021 was the year of practical Amazon purchases for me. I discovered some truly great products. Many I have repurchased and many quickly become favorites. And many have found their way into my every day routines. They’re that good for me so I had to share my best amazon purchases with you.
The year started off with the disappointing news that The Office would no longer be available to watch on Netflix. The devastation. But not all was terrible. Where before I was wasting away days binging all the episodes, now I have to switch the discs. And I use that opportunity to break up work/chores throughout the day.
And what better chore to tackle than scrubbing during those disc changes? This electric sprayer has really changed my day to day. Shower walls and other large areas that need spraying were exhausting. I’d need a break. This sprayer is button activated. One press turns the stream on. Another press turns it off. With this I can spray multiple surfaces with ease. And I can fill it with whatever cleaner I want. Absolutely buying more of them.
I’ve gone through so many odor and urine removing sprays and really needed something better, unscented, and in a more economical size. After loads of research, I came across this woman owned brand. And I’m delighted! It works well. And the “your house doesn’t smell like cats” comment I get is proof. Because my senior kitty certainly tests it.
While I’m mentioning cleaning products that changed my year, I have to share this one. For years I’ve been on the hunt for the best unscented clothing detergent. I have very sensitive skin. And I’ve found many brands use scent to cover up how ineffective their product actually works. These sheets kick all types of odors butts and my laundry feels and looks truly clean. Bonus, they’re eco friendly too.
Speaking of eco friendly, another area I’ve been making an effort to reduce waste in is tea. It just seems to easy to not do it. Loose leaf tea is delightful. Infuser options are endless and practically infinitely reusable. I especially enjoy this brand. On top of being lovely in quality, their packaging includes humor.
I can’t explain how it happened but somehow the plug for my beloved king sized electric blanket ended up shrinking in the wash. It was tragic for me because I rely on heated blankets to ease joint discomfort. When I found this one – I impulse purchased. It was available at a steal of a deal at the time. Worth keeping an eye on it to watch for a warehouse deal.
And to plug in that blanket, one of the best purchases ever. These sofa extension cords are so incredibly useful. I don’t know how no one told me about them sooner. The plug in flat so it doesn’t bend when a sofa presses against it. And how handy it is to have plugs for phone chargers, lamps, diffusers on either side of a sofa or bed.
I’ve used bamboo toothbrushes for a few years now but I really like this particular pack. The packaging is eco conscious as is the product itself. The bristles are easy on my gums. And it’s very affordable. It’s another one of those “why wouldn’t I?” purchases.
One more really cool environmentally friendly find are these shampoo and conditioner bars. They work. And they work well. I use the fragrance free moisturizing line but they have others too. I recommend this specific brand because they’re affordable in addition to being easy to use.
The final best Amazon purchase I have to share with you is a paint brush. I took up painting last year. A brush I really needed in my supplies was proving next to impossible to find in a synthetic hair. But I found it, and on Amazon no less. It works beautifully too. If you want to do any kind of blending, I highly recommend this one.
I’m curious to know what this year’s Best Amazon purchases are going to look like. Last year was practical, environmentally conscious, and affordable. And honestly those things are still very important to me.
