Part of mindful consumerism, for me at least, is intentionally seeking out companies founded and owned by marginalized communities. Heritage and pride months are the perfect reminder to seek out alternative sources for goods and services. Join me in celebrating pride month with LGBT businesses below.
This month being Pride month, I wanted to celebrate by sharing LGBT businesses I’m excited about. From favorite colors to ingredients I feel good about to things that make me feel seen, these picks are just one (or a couple) of what these shops offer. So, check them out!

Do I *need* any/all of these things? Yes, yes I do. The creativity is phenomenal. The concept is stunning. The execution is flawless. I’m fangirling.
In all reality, if you have the need, you should absolutely shop from these brands and shops. That’s how I try to shop. When I run out of, wear through, break, or whatever leads to needing a replacement, that’s when I come back to these lists I share and make the purchase. I may be biased, but I think you should save your favorite posts from my blog to do the same.
Need more? Me too.

It’s so important to support the makers and designers of the world. It’s especially important to support those that belong to marginalized groups. From decorating, to dressing, to representing, to collecting, there’s so many incredible discoveries to be made and had.
