Hello and welcome to the kick off of Christmas week here at A Designer At Home! Today I have a 3 in 1 Christmas ornament tutorial that’s all about bringing in global style for the holidays. The tutorials start easy, then go to medium difficulty, and then a level hard DIY. I was inspired by handira blankets for the easy ornament. I wanted to recreate an evil eye talisman for the medium skill ornament. And the hardest of them is inspired by Mexican Felt ornaments.
So hopefully the variety gives you something in a skill level you’re comfortable with. And a style that compliments your holiday aesthetic.
This post is the December installment of the Global Styler series which means Stephanie from Casa Watkins Living and Kathy from Up To Date Interiors are also sharing global style ornaments today. Stick around until the end to catch the links for their projects.

Once everything is dry, they’re ready to hang. You can go the traditional route and hang them on a Christmas tree orrrrr….
You can hang them on a guava tree! Mine will most likely end up on the Christmas tree, but I’m dragging my feet getting the tree put together. This is totally working for me right now though
What do you think? Could you see yourself making any of these? I think they could make for a really fun activity in between baking cookies, wrapping presents or just winding down at the end of the day with some hot chocolate (or wine works, too).
If you enjoyed what I have shared today, please share with your friends on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter!
As promised, here are the links for my friend’s global inspired ornament tutorials. Happy creating and be well!
