In honor of Women’s History Month, I have been searching through everything I own and don’t yet own that are owned by women. I love that I get to exist in a time where women can do these things. And they do these things exemplary. Making history, right here, right now. I need everything on this master list of women owned products.
Walmart: Master List of Women Owned Products
Walmart isn’t always the first place I look to for shopping but there’s actually a lot of gems! Especially when browsing the website. There’s so much more than what can be found in the stores. I’ve picked some favorites from woman owned brands below.
I knew that Drew Barrymore had a few collaborative collections with Walmart but I missed the news on these appliances. They are gorgeous. There are multiple colors to choose but I gravitate to the green and white.
One of the OG collaborative brands with Walmart. The Pioneer Woman products are always the cutest option with home goods. Things like spatulas and measuring spoons. I’m needing to do some yard work. So I picked up this adorable set. They’ve got great weight to them so fingers crossed they hold up.
I’m always running into opportunities to mention I’m a cat lady. And that I love eco friendly options. This kitty sift litter box is something I’ve been considering trying out lately. I actually came across this before and featured it in my crazy cat lady things blog.
I haven’t found a zip lock bag alternative that I love yet but these look promising! There’s a few different options like unbleached, quart size, different prints. I actually think the sharks are adorable. And *fist pump* for plastic free.
We’ve been eating a ton of chocolate chip pancake and waffles lately so of course I had to pick this up. My kid really likes caramel so I went with this one but if it’s good I’ll pick up the strawberry next. Love that it’s something different than the done a million times over on the go snack bars.
Siete Family Foods Enchilada Sauce
Bought it, tried it, loved it. It’s got more zing that the El Paso canned enchilada sauce. The fact that it comes in a glass jar is *chefs kiss*. I hate that the cans don’t reseal once opened. And I hate additional dishes. This is restorable, delicious, and recyclable. Win-Win-Win.
We started picking this up for parties out of convenience. And then we kept periodically purchasing because it’s really good. There’s a few different varieties that we’ve tried and enjoyed: unsweet, sweet and sugar free sweet.
Voluminous and soft, these hair scrunchies are a treat to use. That’s not all the company does though. Hairitage offers an entire line of hair care and styling products, tools and accessories. I haven’t tried anything else as I’ve just become aware of the brand but I am very pleased with this first purchase.
A brand founded on and embracing the fluidity that is human existence. Makeup can be for anyone of any gender identity. That’s the idea behind the products at We Are Fluide. They have glitters, glosses, and crayons that can be used anywhere in anyway. As well as that, they have mascara and liquid lipstick.
I have been dying to get my hands on The Lip Bar products. I have a larger than needed makeup collection right now so I keep putting it off. I’m admiring from afar for now. Until I have something needing to be replaced. It’s on my radar for sure though.
Amazon: Master List of Women Owned Products
Some of the most unique goods I’ve found are on Amazon. Things I’ve never dreamed up but now absolutely need. Like, this attachable laptop monitor. So smartly designed and while I have no real need for it, I’d absolutely use it.
Cat grass growing kits are not innovative nor new but the container is too cute not to mention. I appreciate that it’s organic and the pot is a mug. I’m a cat lady. Cat things will always capture my attention.
Travel, camping, but especially the local parks, the bathrooms can be disgusting. Instead of wadding up toilet paper and hovering and hoping to block the memory out, this portable funnel comes in clutch.
I’m always looking for practical eco friendlier options to replace wasteful ones. Silicone food storage bags are something I’ve tried before. The creases are unpleasant to clean though. Enter flat bottomed containers and goodbye lid tops.
Gorgeous wood covers, yes please! I’m a notebook junkie but it always makes me a little sad when one with a pretty design is made from plastic. If it’s not absolutely necessary, I try to pass on plastic purchases. This will absolutely be my next notebook.
Did you know that gum is not biodegradable? I didn’t! Now that I know, I’m grateful to know there’s a brand already on it.
The compact, eco friendly wet wipe option. I can think of so many practical uses for these! Dirty paws, little hands, bathrooms without towels, travel meal clean up. The wipes and the tubes biodegrade and you could use anything from water to rubbing alcohol to hydrate them.
The brilliant little solution to the “what’s for dinner?” question. More than just specific meal options, it’s ingredients that are shown. So there’s still plenty of room for creativity.
The few camping experiences I’ve had would’ve been a whole lot more enjoyable if I’d had something like this solar lantern and phone charger. If you’re not a fan of bringing electronics along, there’s non phone charging versions, too.
It’s just one of those things I probably should have assumed existed. I use bar soap for most things. I’m sad to say my smelly pup with sensitive skin passed away last year. But I’m glad this is on my radar now.
I was first introduced to canned water on a vacation trip. It blew my mind! Why isn’t all water canned? We literally don’t need plastic for this.
Target: Master List Of Women Owned Products
Target makes buying women owned products easy. A dedicated category can be found on the homepage (at least for now). Within it are a plethora of sub categories: beauty, home, office, food, accessories. I’ve kept the list shorter since many would be repeats from my Target’s Black Owned Businesses blog. All of them are more than worthy of supporting!
It’s clean, vegan, sustainable, made in the states and friendly to all skin types. There’s a lot more detail I adore about this company beyond that, too.
Being mindful with both packaging and ingredients is exactly what I look for. I don’t need questionable things in my skin nor do I need questionable things in my oceans.
Tumblers with cute designs have been a thing for ages now thanks to the cricut crowd. But I’ll always take an opportunity to plug eco friendly products.
The designs are ultra cute. I’d definitely love to carry this around over a disposable plastic one.
This takes under sink organizing to the next level. Even regular cabinets and other places could use this. I love that it rolls out. And the nifty customizable dividers.
The only thing I could think to make them any better would be colors. But the white is versatile enough for a storage solution.
Am I hungry while writing this? Yes. I know gluten free cookies exist elsewhere. These are also vegan and soft baked makes my mouth water.
The company also offers just-add-water pancake mix too. Also gluten free and free from allergens. I just want to snack. A better snack.
The Sanctuary Project is a do-good company that provides employment to women who’ve survived the worst situations. They design and package gorgeous jewelry that’s timeless and on trend.
From what I can tell, everything is either silver or gold plated. Not likely to be irritating for most people. This is important to me since I have metal allergies.
I will be referencing this and my other lists as I need to make purchases throughout the year. I’m really excited to try as many as I can. The older I get, the more aware and passionate I have become with where I spend my money. It’s long overdue to more fairly distribute wealth and this is one small way to get there.
