Hello! If you’re a quick one, you’re already putting several things together. 1. It’s Thursday, so we’re talking thrifted items so naturally the “Where To Buy” is thrifting. 2. We’re working on the dining room for the One Room Challenge, I love plants, plants are a big part of my decorating style so I’ve thrifted like crazy to find lots of planters. 3. This is totally the follow up to my post earlier this week where I covered my “pro” tips for plant purchasing. 4. I’m going to show you pictures of the plants and planter pots I’ve just bought!
First up, let’s chat about the vignette I shared on Instagram. All 3 basket planters were picked up for less than $10 at thrift stores. Eclectic interiors is having it’s time in the trendy spotlight so finding unique planters at the thrift store is an inexpensive way of trying out the look. Bonus: The ginger jar and tall wooden vase were also just picked up at the thrift store.
Brass containers go for big bucks on sites like Etsy. They also work really well for eclectic, glam and boho interiors. I found this one for $2 at the Goodwill outlet. It’s huge! Really, any large container can be used as a planter like this. Keep your eyes peeled and get creative.
And here’s a small one you’ve seen pop up here before.
Another basket planter- these are my favorite for a good dose of texture to a space. And the little ceramic Dutch inspired windmill planter. Isn’t that just so cute? I really enjoy the juxtaposition of the windmill and the succulent!
By spending a bit of time sorting through the shelves at the thrift store, allowing yourself to have some fun with your decor and reimagining pieces as a new life as a planter- you can beef up your plant collection for way cheaper than buying pots at the home improvements stores.

It’s feature time! I went through the feed and found even more wonderful examples of cute and trendy thrifted planter pots. As always, I encourage you to give the features a visit and some love.
